Construction and Opening
State filings show the Skechers project began in February 2024, with an estimated completion date of July 1, 2024. A June 2024 photo captured the storefront decorated with balloons and a “Grand Opening” banner, confirming the outlet’s launch during the summer.
Location History
The building dates back to the early 2000s and has hosted multiple chains. Party City was the first major occupant, followed by Tuesday Morning in 2020. The discount home retailer only lasted three years before shutting down during the company’s bankruptcy.
Skechers Today
The site operates today as a Skechers Warehouse Outlet, offering footwear and apparel from the company’s global lineup. Founded in 1992 in California, Skechers has grown into a worldwide chain with more than 4,500 stores. The Hurst location keeps the property active and shows how quickly retail spaces in the area continue to cycle through tenants.
Before becoming a Tuesday Morning, this space was home to a Party City. The building, constructed in the early 2000s, has seen various retail transformations over the years.
