A new flexible business park is planned along West Prosper Trail in Prosper. The project, called Prosper Flex Park, is planned with four buildings. Each building is expected to contain about 38,500 square feet. Prosper Town Council approved the development in January 2026. A recent state filing covers the first building, with construction listed from October 2026 through July 2027. The following aerials and Street View images show how the site and surrounding area changed over more than two decades.
February 2001
The future Prosper Flex Park area was mostly open agricultural land in February 2001. Development was limited compared with what surrounds the property today. A commercial complex had already been established immediately east of the future project area. Large fields still dominated both sides of Prosper Trail.
March 2015
By March 2015, neighborhoods had expanded substantially north of Prosper Trail. The commercial complex to the east had also grown considerably. Much of the future flex park property remained open despite the development surrounding it. A pond and additional service areas were visible farther south.
September 2024
Street View shows another change by September 2024. Flyers Volleyball occupied the former Precision Landscape Management property along Prosper Trail. The buildings and landscaped frontage remained largely intact despite the new use. The nearby flex park tract was still awaiting its next major phase.
What Is Planned
Prosper Flex Park is planned south of Prosper Trail, east of Mike Howard Lane. Town documents describe a four-building development with flexible commercial and light industrial space. Potential uses include offices, warehouses and other business operations.
The latest state filing covers Building 01 at 621 West Prosper Trail. It describes a new 38,500-square-foot industrial distribution warehouse. The filing lists an October 2026 construction start and July 2027 completion.
