Sprouts Farmers Market will officially open its new store in Coconut Creek, Florida, on Friday, May 9, 2025. Located at 1019 Lyons Road, the store will kick off with a full weekend of celebrations, giveaways, and food tastings.
The grand opening will stretch from May 9 through May 11, from free samples to flower giveaways. Guests can enjoy pop-up parties, contests, and plenty of in-store offerings designed to highlight the fresh and organic focus Sprouts is known for.
Three Days of Celebrations and Fresh Finds
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 7 a.m. on opening day. The first 200 customers will receive a reusable bag filled with products, and the first 400 will get a free long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral.
Saturday will feature a family-friendly pop-up party with games and music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sunday, in-store tastings will give shoppers a sample of the store’s offerings during the same timeframe.
The store encourages customers to bring their own bags. Single-use plastic bags are no longer offered. Reusable plastic bags will cost 10¢ and paper bags 5¢. Delivery and pickup will be available via Instacart and the Sprouts app.
Sprouts now operates more than 400 stores across the U.S. and employs roughly 31,000 people. This new location continues the brand’s aggressive Florida expansion.
From Empty Land to a New Shopping Destination
This corner of Lyons Road and Coconut Creek Parkway has changed a lot over the years. Back in 2004, this section of land was entirely undeveloped. A lone building stood to the north, surrounded by dirt and construction tracks.
Fast forward to 2023, and the site is nearly unrecognizable. Restaurants, small retail outlets, and recreational facilities now surround the once-empty field. The new Sprouts will anchor the southern portion of this retail plaza.
