A new apartment complex is currently being developed on eight acres of South Austin. The location was once home to the Noble Resources company. Shelby Ranch pays homage to the property’s former owner renowned car enthusiast Wilson “Larkin” Miller. The property will feature 302 studio, one, two and three bedroom residences spread across two four-story buildings. Floorplans maximize natural light with large windows, high ceilings and private balconies or patios. Modern interiors boast two-tone cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and wood-style floors.
Shelby Ranch will also have an expansive one-acre courtyard. It will have lush landscaping, an open-air stage for concerts, a resort-style pool and a rustic-modern clubhouse. Residents can start their day gathering fresh eggs from the chicken coop and end it around a crackling fire pit. Beyond the courtyard, other amenities will include a fitness center and a separate room for yoga class.
Shelby Ranch’s South Austin address means downtown, the airport, and Barton Springs are just a short drive away. Slated for completion in late 2024, Shelby Ranch is being brought to life by Texas firms. These include Belshaw Mulholland Architects and Keaton Interiors.
