Target plans to open a new store in the Los Angeles neighborhood of South Lake. The store is expected to be approximately 17,440 square feet according to Target’s website. This is part of Target’s plan to open small stores in large urban centers like Los Angeles and New York.
South Lake’s new Target will be located close to the Silver Lake Blvd and Bellevue Avenue intersection just north of Hollywood Freeway, one of the busiest highways in the United States. This new Target will be just 5 mins from a similar Target in Historic Filipinotown which opened in 2021 at the base of a new apartment building.
CIM Group is behind the development of the new Dillon Street complex with 52 apartments, some retail space and parking.
