A new Small Sliders is on the way to 2301 W Wall St in Midland, Texas. According to a recent TDLR filing, the 800-square-foot restaurant is scheduled to begin construction in September 2025, with an expected completion in December 2025.
But this isnโt just a random infill project. The lotโsituated at a highly visible triangular corner where W Wall Street meets Andrews Highway and Loop 250 Businessโhas a long commercial history and was recently cleared, signaling the start of something new.
Longtime Office Property, Recently Razed
Public records show that 2301 W Wall was previously home to a six-story office building, originally constructed in 1960. Midland Central Appraisal District identifies the parcel as R000014496, with a total area of 1.69 acres.

In recent years, the structure underwent significant renovation, and commercial listings identified it as a Class B office building with redevelopment potential. While its condition had raised speculation, there was no official record labeling it as vacant or failed.

Now, thatโs no longer in question. The latest Street View imagery from mid-2024 clearly shows the site completely razed and leveled, consistent with prep work for pad-style retail builds.
