New Raising Cane’s Planned for DFW Airport

A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing lists plans for a Raising Cane’s restaurant at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The project covers a 3,030-square-foot interior tenant space with partitions, finishes, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work. Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2025 and finish by April 2026.

The filing provides construction details but does not serve as an official announcement. Separately, DFW Airport has announced a Raising Cane’s coming to Terminal B, described as the airport’s first 24/7 location. The state filing does not include those specifics.

Location

The project address is listed as 2141 S International Parkway in Tarrant County, part of the Terminal B campus. Most dining at DFW is located past security checkpoints, and the airport’s own announcement confirms Raising Cane’s is planned for Gate B-19, which is post-security.

That placement means the restaurant will be accessible mainly to ticketed passengers and airport staff rather than the general public. Other details such as staffing, hours of operation, or whether the restaurant will be run directly by Raising Cane’s or a concessionaire were not included in the filing.

Company Info

Raising Cane’s was founded in Baton Rouge in 1996 and has grown to more than 750 locations nationwide. The chain is known for its chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and signature sauce.

The upcoming DFW Airport restaurant highlights the brand’s move into high-traffic transportation hubs. While the airport has confirmed its inclusion in the concession plan, Raising Cane’s has not issued its own press release about the project.
