Back in April 2024, we reported on plans for a 32-unit apartment building rising along East 9th Street in Oak Cliff. What was then a construction site has now transformed into a finished property that is officially leasing. The addition brings new housing options to one of Dallas’s fastest-changing neighborhoods, where older rental units are giving way to modern developments close to Bishop Arts District.
Construction and Progress
The property at 416 E 9th Street shows a completed exterior with balconies and siding in place. Street View imagery from March 2025 captured a leasing banner on-site, signaling that units were being marketed at that time. While that view also showed some fencing and equipment, the project has since advanced, and by August 2025 it is actively listed and available for move-ins.
Location and Context
The apartments sit in Oak Cliff, just blocks from Bishop Arts District. The project adds new housing density in an area known for its mix of historic homes and small businesses. It represents a shift toward more compact living options along East 9th Street and surrounding streets.
Leasing Status
The development is promoted as East 9th Apartments, with listings now active on rental platforms and a presence on Google Maps. The map pin currently points to a neighboring building rather than the new structure, but the listing confirms availability. Units are marketed with modern features like in-unit laundry and shared amenities, and leasing incentives such as four weeks free rent continue to be advertised as management works to fill the property.
