A new apartment complex is rising along Wooded Lake Drive in northern Mesquite. Originally announced in 2024, the project will bring 288 units across nine three-story buildings, along with a standalone clubhouse. Recent satellite imagery from May 2025 shows major progress at the site, with framing, roofing, and infrastructure now visible. Completion is still projected for March 2026, but much of the structure is already in place.
Current Construction Progress
The western half of the complex features buildings that are now fully framed and roofed, while additional structures on the eastern side are mid-frame or just starting vertical construction. Internal roads and parking areas have taken shape, and groundwork for the clubhouse appears underway. Based on this pace, at least some of the buildings may be ready to lease ahead of the projected completion date.

The development sits just north of Mesquite Memorial Stadium and south of the wooded area that borders Town East Boulevard. Its proximity to Interstate 635 and several retail centers makes it a strategic addition to this growing part of the city.
Location History and Nearby Institutions
Wooded Lake Drive was established in the 1980s, running through a section of town that has transitioned from wooded buffer zones to active development. The area was mostly undeveloped until recently, with the current apartment project replacing dense tree cover. Interstate 635 has served as a critical route here since the 1960s, linking Mesquite to greater Dallas.
Nearby Dallas Christian School, a private preparatory academy, continues to be a major neighborhood anchor and is located just east of the new complex.
