QuikTrip is establishing its inaugural store in Kaufman, Texas, at 945 Kings Fort Parkway, just off U.S. Route 175. This emerging convenience store and gas station will join a bustling commercial area already hosting major retailers and eateries, with Walmart being the largest. Historical aerial photos show that until 2014, when Walmart opened, followed by Whataburger and Burger King, the site saw little development.
Founded in 1958 in Oklahoma, where it remains headquartered, QuikTrip is renowned for its swift service. The chain operates over 1,000 stores across the southern and Midwestern states. Construction on this new location is expected to complete in February 2025.
