This New Nations Giant Hamburgers Replaced a Former Grandy’s in Arlington

In 1986, a distinctive building was constructed at 4180 South Cooper Street, nestled between Melear Drive and Cooper Street in Arlington. Initially, it hosted a Grandy’s restaurant until its closure four years ago. Now, the California-based Nations Giant Hamburgers has rejuvenated this spot beside the newly rebranded Victory Shops at Arlington—formerly Arlington Towne Center. The transformation was completed in May 2023.

Originating from the San Francisco area, Nations is renowned for its generous portions. Besides their signature burgers, the menu features hot dogs, pies and much more, catering to a variety of tastes. This opening is part of a Nations Giant Hamburger broader expansion within the DFW Metroplex.
