430 N. State Highway 121 in Coppell, Texas, will soon host a new Popeyes restaurant, as recent TDLR filings reveal. Located at the intersection of Rockbrook Road and State Highway 121 (Sam Rayburn Tollway), this site has no previous developments, with historical aerial images dating back to the 1950s showing it as farmland. Popeyes, founded in 1972 initially as Chicken On The Run and later renamed Popeyes Mighty Good Chicken, now operates over 3,700 locations nationwide. It is currently owned by Restaurant Brands International.
