Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filings confirm a new Jack in the Box restaurant is planned for Montgomery, Texas, at 21049 Eva Street. The project will bring a modern fast-food establishment with a drive-thru. Construction will begin in January 2025, and completion is projected for March 2025. The restaurant will cover a total of 2,440 square feet.
The aerial images offer a fascinating glimpse into how this area has evolved. In 1930, this part of Montgomery was largely undeveloped, characterized by open land and minimal infrastructure. By 1957, some development had started, with a few buildings and roads marking the beginnings of urban growth in this section of Eva Street.
Now, in 2024, the area has transformed into a bustling part of Montgomery, home to various commercial businesses like Lupe Tortilla, McDonald’s, and a shopping center. Liberty Street and Eva Street intersection has become a central point for local traffic and commerce. The new Jack in the Box will further enhance the vibrancy of this location.
