The Boiling Springs community in South Carolina has undergone significant transformation with the completion of a new shopping center at 3659 Boiling Springs Road. This development, occupying a 60-acre site between Double Bridge and Old Furnace Roads, features a 147,000-square-foot Target store that opened on August 18, 2024.
The store includes a CVS Pharmacy and a Starbucks café, enhancing local retail options.
Adjacent to Target, a QuikTrip convenience store has been operational since early 2024, and a Whataburger restaurant commenced service on July 15, 2024.
This site, formerly housing Boiling Springs High School’s Ninth Grade Campus and Spartanburg School District 2’s maintenance and transportation facilities, is part of a $120 million initiative by the district. Funded by a 2017 referendum, this project aims to construct a new high school nearby without increasing taxes, with plans to repay the borrowed funds over 25 years.
