New Dollar General Store to replace Closed Restaurant in Cleburne

In 2021, Leach Bros BBQ restaurant in Cleburne closed its doors at 1106 E. Henderson Street. The site will now house a new 10,654-square-foot Dollar General store. The former building, erected in 1969, was part of a larger complex that included Linda’s Patio, also closed and owned by the same family. Dollar General, originally founded in 1939 as J.L. Turner and Son in Scottsville, Kentucky, has expanded significantly, now boasting nearly 20,000 locations across the United States. The Cleburne store has a completion date of July 2024.
