Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, a cherished Nashville eatery, is known for its fiery local delicacy. After launching its 2022 Dallas debut on Main Street in Deep Ellum, the family-run business is now preparing to introduce a new branch in the vibrant Oak Lawn district, setting up shop at 3827 Lemmon Ave. This site previously housed Einstein Bros Bagels and briefly, Lucky Chicken for four months in 2022.

Delving into history, the earliest aerial snapshots from 1952 reveal a densely populated area, dotted primarily with single-family homes. The original residential structure at 3827 Lemmon Avenue was torn down in the late 1960s, making way for the current edifice. Renovations at this site are projected to wrap up by September 2024.
