Cooks Children Clinic plans to build a new pediatric and adult health center on a 3.7-acre plot, in Fort Worth, Texas. The clinic will be the first major development in this location at an estimated cost of $30,000,000. According to the Dallas Morning News, it will include primary care, behavioral health, and social services. It will also include a Fort Worth Police storefront. The plot of land is on the southwest corner of the Calmont Avenue and Cherry Lane intersection, just south of Interstate 30.
In the early 1950’s, there was not much development around this area based on the historical aerial images of this area. There was what looks like a farmhouse exactly where Calmont Avenue is today. Interstate 30 came along in the 1960s and
