University Boulevard in Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas

San Antonio-based H-E-B held a groundbreaking event in May for the new Allen, Texas store. This will be the third H-E-B in Collin County after the new McKinney and Plano stores. The new location is being built next to Eagle Stadium: home of the Allen High School football team.

No major development can be seen in aerial images of this location, dating back to 1958 when it was used for farming.

According to H-E-B, the store will be 117,000 square feet with a True Texas BBQ restaurant, pharmacy, and Texas Backyard department, which offers outdoor essentials.
