H-E-B Supermarket In Plano Texas
In June 2021, supermarket chain H-E-B began construction for the new Plano store. This is one of the two stores H-E-B will open next year in the DFW Metroplex. One is in Plano and another in Frisco. The location for the Plano supermarket is the southwest corner of Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway. It is a five minute drive east of the Dallas North Tollway and will be in the northern part of Lakeside Market lifestyle center. Lakeside Market was purchased by Houston investor Whitestone RIET in July 2021.

H-E-B Founders
In 1905 H-E-B was founded in Kerrville, Texas by Florence Thornton Butt. It was originally named C. C. Butt Grocery.
Florence’s youngest son, Howard Edward Butt took over the store in 1919. In 1935, he changed the name of the company to H.E. Butt Grocery.
