Discover the Transformation of the Lake Stevens Costco Site

Costco opened its Lake Stevens store at 2326 S Lake Stevens Road in 2022. The 169,243-square-foot Costco Wholesale is on the northwest corner of Lake Stevens Road and Washington State Route 9. The store features 800 parking spaces and a 30-pump gas station. The opening added 275 jobs to Lake Stevens.

This was the first major commercial construction project on this site, requiring the removal of over 1,000 trees. Consequently, the project faced strong resistance from some Lake Stevens residents, with concerns ranging from traffic to environmental impact. The images below capture the location’s transformation.
