Location

In 2018, Sears closed its Lake Success Shopping Center location in North New Hyde Park, New York, along with 58 other Sears and K-Mart locations across the United States. In spring 2023, Target will open a new 115,000-square-foot store in the same building to the east of the Union Turnpike and Lakeville road intersection.

Lake Success Shopping Center was opened in New Hyde Park back in 1955. It was built behind the former Sperry Gyroscope plant, which was the United Nations headquarters.

Location History
