A Home Depot joined the growing Manor Crossing development earlier this year, officially opening its doors in May 2025. When we first covered the project, the store was still in construction. Now that it’s been open for several months, it’s a good time to revisit the site and see how it’s performing.
Construction and Opening
The store, located at 13100 N FM 973, came in at about 135,000 square feet and was developed alongside other retail pads at Manor Crossing. General contractor MYCON completed the project in spring, with the doors opening to customers at the end of May. The big-box addition is part of the first phase of Manor Crossing, which also includes the under-construction H-E-B and several smaller restaurant and retail spaces.
Location and Development Context
Manor Crossing sits at the edge of rapid growth in eastern Travis County. The shopping center’s anchor lineup of Home Depot and H-E-B is drawing in additional retailers such as T.J. Maxx, Burlington, and Planet Fitness, plus restaurants including Chili’s, Chick-fil-A, 7 Brew, and Waffle House. The site is just north of US 290, with the Walmart Supercenter across the highway, creating a concentrated retail hub that wasn’t here even a decade ago.
Community Response
So far, reviews have been strongly positive. Customers describe the Manor Home Depot as “a beautiful new store that was sorely needed,” highlighting the convenience of not having to drive to Pflugerville or Austin. Staff friendliness has also been noted, with one reviewer praising “brand new faces, fresh smiles, and excitement” from employees during the first weeks. Another customer mentioned the store was “super convenient” and gave a shout-out to helpful associates by name. With an average Google rating of 4.5 stars from around 80 reviews, it’s clear the store has settled in quickly as a local staple.
