The 2500 square-foot building at 6520 East Northwest Highway in Dallas, which has transformed from a combined KFC and Taco Bell to a Walgreens Pharmacy, is having another makeover. Soon, it will welcome a new Popeyes fried chicken restaurant.
Historical images from the 1950s show this plot hosting different businesses, even in its early, less developed days. While the exact nature of these earlier establishments is unclear, they were likely commercial. The new Popeyes will join the brand’s expansive network of nearly 4,000 locations, a significant growth since its inception in 1972.
