Richardson, Texas based Golden Chick, is building a new location on Jupiter Road in Garland Texas next to a Sonic Restaurant. The new building will be approximately 1069 square feet and construction is expected to be complete by September, 2024. This is the first major commercial building on this location as shown in historical aerial images going back to 1956 had a population below 38,000.
The first Golden Chick location was opened in San Marcos, Texas and today the fried chicken restaurant has over 200 locations with most of them in Texas and Oklahoma. They serve mostly chicken meals with multiple sides and drinks.
