How the First HTeaO in Lampasas Is Winning Over Locals

Lampasas got its first taste of HTeaO late last year, and the city hasn’t stopped sipping since. The HTeaO Lampasas location at 301 N. Key Ave officially opened on December 14, 2024, marking the tea chain’s debut in the area. Since then, it’s become a go‑to stop for locals looking for a cold drink on a hot Texas day.

The shop operates out of a 13,500‑square‑foot commercial space along the US‑183/US‑190 corridor, better known locally as Key Avenue. It features a drive‑thru and dine‑in setup, where customers can grab a quick gallon for the road or take their time exploring the 20+ iced tea flavors brewed fresh daily.

Seven months after opening, the Lampasas HTeaO is thriving. Google reviewers give it a perfect 5.0 rating, with nearly 40 reviews praising its flavorful teas and friendly staff.

Locals have their favorites—Sweet Coconut, Texas Chai, and Wild Raspberry lead the pack—but the shop’s secret menu keeps regulars coming back to try new mixes like Pink Flamingo and Coconut Sunset. The 2–4 PM happy hour, offering half‑price teas, has quickly become a daily ritual for many.

As one customer put it:

“Tea is so flavorful and refreshing—not syrupy. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.”

More Than Just Tea

HTeaO isn’t stopping at iced tea. The Lampasas location also serves iced coffee and tea lattes, and sells premium nugget ice and YETI drinkware for take-home use. Drinks are available by the cup, gallon, or in custom mixes, turning each visit into a mini flavor experiment.
