The Red Lobster at 9069 Vantage Point Drive in Dallas shut its doors on May 13, 2024, part of a broader wave of closures tied to the company’s bankruptcy filing. It was one of nearly 100 locations closed nationwide, including both remaining Dallas stores.
In the months that followed, the building was listed for lease by firms like Matthews Real Estate and Crexi. By November 2024, a TABS filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation revealed a proposed renovation under the name Juicy Seafood and Bar, with an $800,000 budget and a planned completion date of July 18, 2025.
However, Google Street View imagery from January 2025 shows a “King Buffet – Coming Soon” banner on the building. At this point, it’s unclear whether the signage reflects a finalized tenant or a placeholder during renovations.
There are no active business listings, permits, or reviews confirming that either name is officially operating at the site. Until additional information becomes available—such as a confirmed opening, health permit, or updated listing—the future of the location remains unconfirmed.
