Construction is underway on a new Chick-fil-A at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with the fast-food chain targeting a fall 2025 opening. Located at 80 Washington Street in Lot 19, the restaurant will bring Chick-fil-A’s signature chicken sandwiches and double-lane drive-thru to one of the most heavily trafficked shopping and entertainment districts in the state.
The location sits just steps from Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, but fans hoping for game-day nuggets may be disappointed. Like all Chick-fil-A locations, this one will remain closed on Sundays, including during home games.
Chick-fil-A’s Foxborough Plans and Timeline
Chick-fil-A broke ground in April 2025, with the new restaurant set up in Lot 19 on the south side of Gillette Stadium. It will feature indoor seating, an outdoor patio, and a high-capacity drive-thru, designed to handle the steady flow of shoppers, travelers, and sports fans. The P8 entrance off U.S. Route 1 leads directly to the site.
While the foot traffic from Patriots games would have guaranteed major Sunday business, Chick-fil-A is keeping to its traditional operating schedule. That means fans headed to Sunday matchups won’t find it open—something that’s already caused a stir among some locals.
More Chick-fil-A Locations Coming to Massachusetts
The Foxborough location is one of seven new Chick-fil-A restaurants expected to open across Massachusetts by the end of 2025, including Hudson, Danvers, Somerset, Worcester, and two in Boston (South Station and Logan Airport). Another round of stores is expected through 2027, with the total projected to hit 12–15 new locations.
Chick-fil-A says the new stores will bring around 1,600 jobs to the state. As part of the Foxborough launch, the company donated $20,000 each to local nonprofits FamilyAid Boston and Spoonfuls, aligning the opening with its hunger-relief initiatives.
