A new Golden Chick restaurant is expected to rise soon in Manor Commons, just off U.S. Highway 290. Plans show construction beginning in May 2025 and wrapping up by the end of the year. But the exact pad location within the growing retail area is still unclear.
Golden Chick to Join a Rapidly Growing Retail Hub
According to state filings, the 2,052-square-foot project will be a ground-up build on Lot 8B Manor Commons. That puts it within a well-trafficked stretch already home to Walmart, Wendy’s, and Chick-fil-A. As of late May 2025, the specific construction site has not broken ground, though several parcels in the northern section remain vacant.
Recent aerial images show a few cleared lots along Manor Xing Boulevard—north of the Chick-fil-A—that match the general description. But no signage or equipment is visible yet, and no official leasing site plan confirms which parcel is being used.
