A Discount Tire Center is expected to rise at 13431 Gateway West in El Paso, according to a recent state filing. The 9,377-square-foot project is set to begin construction in June 2025 and reach completion by April 2026. The filing marks the initial public notice of development, but it is not an official announcement from the company.
The lot is directly east of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare Horizon and across the frontage road from Eastlake Marketplace. The marketplace includes businesses such as Crumbl Cookies, Chick-fil-A, and Cracker Barrel. To the northeast is The Home Depot, and behind the site is the ELP1 Amazon Fulfillment Center.
The location is surrounded by commercial and industrial developments with additional retail planned nearby. The southern edge of the lot faces Gateway Blvd and I-10.

Gateway West continues to attract major investment as El Paso’s east side expands. Discount Tire’s future store will serve a steady stream of commuters and residents in need of tire and wheel services.
