A new Bojangles may soon be rising in Georgetown, Texas, according to a recent construction filing for 4808 Williams Drive. While Bojangles has not officially confirmed the location, documents submitted in Texas indicate plans to build a new fast-food fried chicken restaurant on the site.
The project calls for new construction of a 3,214-square-foot restaurant on a vacant lot. Work is expected to begin in September 2025, with completion targeted for April 2026. The estimated construction cost is $1.7 million, based on state filings.
Recent Growth on Williams Drive Signals Strong Commercial Demand
The location sits in a high-traffic corridor near other retail and service businesses. Recent aerial imagery shows how quickly this stretch of Williams Drive has evolved. In 1997, the land was open, undeveloped pasture with sparse vegetation. Today, the surrounding area is filled with modern developments, including commercial centers and medical offices.

The lot for the proposed Bojangles is one of the few undeveloped properties left in this busy commercial zone. It is bordered by newer buildings, paved roads, and a nearby intersection that appears to have been expanded to accommodate traffic.
Filing Suggests Growth, But No Official Bojangles Statement Yet
Despite the filing, Bojangles has not listed the Georgetown address on its official website. As of now, no public company announcement has confirmed this location. Still, the project appears to align with Bojanglesโ ongoing expansion into Texas. The chain has already made moves in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, signaling wider interest in the state.
