AMLI Fountain Place: Dallas’ Luxury High-Rise

AMLI Fountain Place, a 45-story luxury residential tower in Dallas, Texas, was completed in 2020. It stands adjacent to the iconic Fountain Place skyscraper, designed by I.M. Pei, and complements its architectural style. The tower offers 367 modern apartments and penthouses with high-end finishes and world-class amenities. Its completion marked the tallest addition to the Dallas skyline in over three decades.

The site where AMLI Fountain Place now stands has a rich history. Originally, plans for Fountain Place included twin towers, with the second tower rotated 90 degrees from the original. However, due to the economic downturn in the 1980s, the second tower was never built. The construction of AMLI Fountain Place has brought to life the long-envisioned expansion of this iconic site, transforming a former parking lot into a vibrant residential community.

The original Fountain Place, completed in 1986, was designed as a large, multi-faceted prism, giving it a unique profile from all directions. The plaza at its base features an array of 172 dancing fountains, enhancing its allure. The addition of AMLI Fountain Place has revitalized the area, bringing new residential options and contributing to the urban development of downtown Dallas.
