The wait is finally over for Riverbank residents! Costco has opened a new store at 2015 Claribel Road. This new store is situated at the northwest corner of Claribel Road and Oakdale Road, next to the new Parkwoods at Crossroads West community. The Riverbank Crossroads Mall lies directly across Oakdale Road to the east of the site.
This new Costco location is easily accessible for residents of Riverbank and Modesto, as it is conveniently located between the two cities. Historical aerial images show that this area was all farmland dating back to the 1950s. The land remained unchanged until construction for Costco and the surrounding new developments began in 2023.
A man-made irrigation canal can be seen running along the northwest side of the site, indicative of the area’s agricultural history.
