A New Whole Foods Is Still Planned For One Riverside Avenue In Jacksonville

According to Business Journal, Whole Foods Market still plans to anchor the One Riverside project on the southwest corner of Riverside avenue and Acosta Bridge in Jacksonville, Florida. The One Riverside project is replacing the demolished Florida Times-Union building. Construction is currently underway.

The old Florida Times-Union building was home to what is widely believed to be the oldest newspaper in Florida from 1967 to 2019.

One Riverside project

One Riverside project is an upcoming mixed-use project which will not only have retail space anchored by Whole Foods but will also have luxury multi-family residential units and restaurants. The project is being developed in 2 phases by Fuqua Development.
