Organic retailer, Plum Market, will open a new store on 48th street in Washington, DC according to the company’s website. D.C’s new Plum Market will be opening in a building that was once home to a Superfresh Grocery store before closing in the early 2010s. Superfresh filed for bankruptcy in 2015 and the brand was eventually acquired by Key Food.

The New Plum Market will open in a building that was built in 1964 and has approximately 15,660 square feet of space. It is located in American University Park, a neighborhood in the northwest part of Washington D.C., right next to the Spring Valley Shopping Center on Massachusetts Avenue.
