On the 20th of July, 2021, Costco Wholesale opened a new store at 1524 Beasie Road in Murfreesboro Tennessee. The store is located next to the New Salem Highway and Interstate 24 interchange. The building was made from recycled material and has 154,419 square feet of space. It was built on newly developed 20 acres of land.
Costco has 558 warehouse stores in the United States and 908 worldwide. Most Costco locations in the United States have self-serve gas stations with cash back rewards for members.
Back in 1990 Murfreesboro had a population of approximately 44,922. Since then the population has has tripled. Image above was captured in 1997 before Warrior Drive and Beasie Road.
In 2019 work the location was cleared and work to expand Warrior Drive and Beasie Road began.
