A vacant standalone restaurant building in the San Antonio area is returning to active use. Filings and live business listings point to a new Little Caesars location planned for Leon Valley. The project reactivates a long-quiet corner along a busy retail corridor.
Construction and redevelopment details
Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records list the project as “Little Caesars – Shell” at 6802 Bandera Road in Leon Valley. The filing outlines construction and site renovations for a 5,200-square-foot retail space. This scope signals a substantial conversion for a new tenant.
The timeline in the filing runs from March 2026 through September 2026. However, the filing does not list seating, drive-thru details, or interior layout.
Existing building and current status
The site previously housed WeiKee Chinese Restaurant. The standalone building remained in place as of the latest available Street View imagery. Available records show no demolition permits or removal activity.
Meanwhile, a Google listing for Little Caesars Pizza already appears at the address. The listing shows an opening date of March 17 and includes takeout and delivery options. While third-party listings sometimes appear early, this signal aligns more closely with reuse than replacement.
