McDonald’s has opened a new restaurant in Laredo at 3320 Lomas Del Sur Boulevard. The location launched in October 2025, and reviews started showing up within the first week. As of late October, the spot holds a 2.2-star rating on Google with about a dozen reviews, many pointing to slow service and order mix-ups during its early days.
Construction
The project was originally filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in early 2025. Plans called for a 3,686-square-foot restaurant with a modern drive-thru and curbside setup. Initial filings aimed for a January 2026 completion, but the opening came several months earlier. The first reviews appeared in mid-October, confirming that customers were already testing the new site.
Location
The restaurant sits along Lomas Del Sur Boulevard, between Ejido Avenue and US-83. It joins a corridor that includes Stripes and Ace Hardware, making it a convenient stop for drivers and nearby residents. Its placement helps McDonald’s expand deeper into south Laredo, a part of town that has seen steady growth.
