When we first covered this site back in June 2022, BioLife Plasma Services was preparing to open its new Irving location. The project brought fresh attention to 4033 West Airport Freeway, promising a modern facility where local donors could contribute plasma. Now that the center has been operating for some time, we looked at customer feedback to see how it’s performing.
Construction and Opening
The Irving plasma center repurposed existing commercial space along the Airport Freeway corridor, officially opening after our 2022 post. Like other BioLife locations, it offers a full plasma donation facility with multiple donor beds, staff on site, and long operating hours. The project added another option for donors in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, expanding the company’s footprint into a busy stretch of Irving.

Customer Impressions
Reviews of the Irving site show a mix of experiences. On Google, the location holds a 3.8-star rating based on 565 reviews. Many donors describe the staff as friendly and the check-in process as organized. Others point to long wait times, cold or uncomfortable facilities, and occasional cleanliness concerns. On MapQuest, one reviewer praised the employees but described the center itself as “crowded” and “dirty.”
Looking at the broader brand, BioLife Plasma Services has a low national reputation on Yelp (2.2 stars across thousands of reviews). Locally, Irving reflects that split picture — the employees often receive praise, but the environment and donor experience draw frequent criticism.
How It’s Doing Today
The Irving plasma center is open and actively taking donors, but its feedback suggests room for improvement. The center’s staff earns credit for attentiveness, while operational issues such as wait times and facility conditions remain sticking points. For Irving residents considering donation, reviews suggest weighing those trade-offs before planning a visit.
