Costco’s newest North Texas warehouse opened on March 15, 2025, at 310 Center Point Road in Weatherford. It’s the company’s first location in Parker County, expanding Costco’s growing reach across the DFW area.
The store covers 160,000 square feet and features a tire center, optical and hearing departments, pharmacy, gas station, and a liquor store. The liquor store sits just outside the entrance. There’s plenty of parking, and the site is easily accessible from Interstate 20.
Shoppers Say It’s Off to a Smooth Start
Early visitors say the store runs well. It’s busy, but staff move people through quickly. Shoppers highlighted:
-Friendly, helpful staff
-Wide product selection
-Fast-moving checkout lines
-Clean and organized layout
The liquor store has also drawn attention. Many customers mention how easy it is to access right from the main entrance.

A First for Parker County
This is the first Costco to open in Parker County. It sits near Hudson Oaks, part of a fast-growing retail corridor.
Before this, most residents had to drive to Fort Worth or Arlington for the nearest Costco. Now, Weatherford and nearby communities have one close by. It brings warehouse shopping, discounted gas, and key services closer to home.
A Site Transformed: From Rural Land to Retail Hub
Historical images from 2002 show that the Costco site was once a rural landscape, with scattered trees and open fields. At that time, Interstate 20’s western corridor had little commercial development, and Center Point Road was a quiet access point rather than a retail destination.
In 2025, the area is witnessing a major transformation, with Costco leading the way. As Weatherford continues to grow, retail developments like this provide more shopping and services close to home for both long-time residents and newcomers.
