QuikTrip Corporation plans to construct a new convenience store and gas station at the southwest corner of Ric Williamson Memorial Highway and FM 51 in Weatherford, Texas. The project, designated as QuikTrip #1947, is set to begin on May 2025, with an expected completion date of January 2026. The development will feature a 5,037-square-foot convenience store offering retail gasoline sales.
This new location will join the existing QuikTrip store at 2001 S Bowie Dr in Weatherford, which provides a range of services, including QT Kitchens® with made-to-order food, specialty drinks, and grab-and-go items.
The intersection of Ric Williamson Memorial Highway and FM 51 has experienced significant growth in recent years, evolving from a primarily undeveloped area to a bustling hub of commercial activity. The addition of QuikTrip #1947 is expected to further enhance the convenience and amenities available to residents and travelers in Weatherford.
