A New Dogtopia is Open in Downtown Fort Worth

Dogtopia, a renowned pet care provider, has opened a new location in downtown Fort Worth. Situated at 1109 Lamar Street, the facility officially began operations in late 2024, bringing premium services to the city’s vibrant urban core.

This closed electric supply company will soon be repurposed and turned into a Dogtopia.

A Historic Space Transformed for Modern Pet Care

The new Dogtopia facility occupies a building constructed in 1940, which formerly served as the Nathan Frankel Electric Supply Company. After undergoing extensive renovations, the building now features state-of-the-art amenities designed specifically for dogs. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), the renovation was completed in October 2024.

The 9200-square-foot building was completed in 1940 and is a short distance from the Old T&P Warehouse across Lancaster Avenue.

Comprehensive Services for Pet Parents

Dogtopia offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of busy pet owners:

Daycare: Spacious indoor playrooms and secure outdoor areas encourage healthy exercise and socialization.

Boarding: Overnight accommodations provide a comfortable, safe environment for dogs.

Spa Services: Professional grooming and pampering options ensure pets look and feel their best.

The facility also includes HD webcams in all playrooms, allowing pet parents to check in on their furry companions at any time.
