A New Office and Retail Hub in Dallas: Location History

A new office and retail community is now open in Uptown Dallas at 2699 Howell Street. The complex, known as The Quad, features a 335,000-square-foot, 12-story office building along with five retail buildings. This vibrant addition to Uptown Dallas offers a modern space for businesses and a variety of retail options.

The Quad was developed by Stream Realty Partners, with Austin Commercial serving as the contractor. The new complex provides state-of-the-art facilities, including modern workspaces, conference rooms, and collaborative areas. The retail buildings house a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, providing convenient options for dining and shopping.

Location History

Before The Quad, the location was home to Quadrangle, the first mixed-use development in Dallas. Historical aerial images below capture the location’s transformation since 1952.
