Construction for the new Richmond Costco Wholesale at 11125 West Grand Parkway is nearing completion. The 160,000-square-foot Costco Warehouse is expected to open on June 27th, according to a Google Maps listing. Until recently, this area of Richmond was mostly devoid of infrastructure, with only a few dirt roads, as seen in historical aerial imagery. Images from the 1930s show the broader Houston area in its early stages of development. It wasn’t until the 2010s that home construction began to boom in this area.
