Location History

Huntington Shopping Center on 350 Walt Whitman Road is having massive renovations to add a new Whole Foods and other retailers. The Whole Foods Market will be 43,609-square-feet. Huntington Shoping Center is one of the 105 properties owned by Federal Realty Investment Trust. The redevelopment is expected to cost $75 million.

Huntington Shopping Center was built in the early 1960s next to the Walt Whitman Mall. Aerial images on the area show some farmland on the locations before the shopping center was built.
