Goody Goody Liquor opened its Bedford store 1612 Airport Freeway in 2021. This store replaced the closed and razed Fuddruckers restaurant at the corner of the Airport Freeway frontage road and Oak Creek Lane. Goody Goody was founded as Goo Goo Liquors in Dallas in 1964 by Joe Jansen. The company has 21 locations in Texas, selling wine, beer, mixers, and snacks. This family-owned business had annual sales of over $250 million in 2019. Bedford’s Goody Goody store spans 19,237 square feet and offers 101 parking spaces.

In the 2020 election, the people of Bedford voted to allow stores that sell sealed alcoholic beverages. Since then multiple Liquor Stores will be opening soon in Bedford.
