SpringHill Suites by Marriott is new in Waco Texas. The new hotel is located on south 2nd street just off Interstate 35. Nearby is Baylor university and McLane Stadium, which hosts The Baylor Bears football team. Waco has had a high occupancy rate in the last few years and many hotels are under construction to meet the demand. Demand is especially high during the college football season.

Location History
SpringHill Suites is an upgrade from the old hotel which was located on the same site dating back to in the 80’s. The old hotel was known as Lexington Inn, America’s Best Value Inn and lastly Executive Inn and Suites before being demolished. Google Street view images show the old building in 2012 and SpringHill Suites early construction in 2018
