A new QuikTrip convenience store is planned for 1201 Cooks Lane in Fort Worth, according to a state filing. The 6,958-square-foot project is scheduled to begin construction in May 2026, with completion expected by May 2027.
Construction Timeline
The QuikTrip will be built as a ground-up project with fuel pumps and a full retail store. State records list the start date as May 2026 and the finish date a year later in May 2027. With those dates, site preparation is not expected to begin for several months.
Location
The store is planned at the northeast corner of Cooks Lane and John T White Road, just north of I-30. It will sit close to the Walmart Supercenter and nearby residential neighborhoods including Hidden Meadows and Ederville Park Townhomes. The spot is positioned to serve both highway traffic and local residents.
