A New QuikTrip is Set to Transform This Arlington Corner

The southwest corner of Interstate 20 and Park Springs Blvd, once home to a Fina gas station, has been vacant since the station’s demolition in 2016. The lot has remained barren, with only remnants of old pavement still visible. However, change is finally underway. According to TDLR filings, this site will soon be the location of a new QuikTrip convenience store and gas station.

The original Fina station, built in the 1980s, was the first structure on this lot. The land itself was carved out in the 1970s when Interstate 20 cut through the area. Before the highway’s construction, historic aerial images from the early 1950s show the location as mostly farmland, dotted with a few small, spaced-out buildings.

QuikTrip has been actively expanding across Texas, and this new Arlington location at 3850 West Interstate 20 is expected to be completed by December 2024.
