Mississippi’s New Buc-ee’s is Being Built At This Location

Pass Christian, Mississippi, will soon welcome its first Buc-ee’s travel center. The new facility will sit at 8375 Firetower Road, near Interstate 10 and Menge Avenue. This highly anticipated 74,000-square-foot travel center will feature 120 fueling stations and 24 electric vehicle chargers. Buc-ee’s promises to bring its famous clean restrooms, fresh barbecue, and jerky to the area. The grand opening is expected in May 2025.

The Location’s History

The site of the new Buc-ee’s was once a piece of rural farmland. In the early 20th century, farmers used the land for crops and livestock. Over time, better roads and infrastructure reshaped the area. The construction of Interstate 10 made it ideal for businesses. Recent work on the Menge Avenue overpass further improved access.

The transition from farmland to commercial property reflects the area’s growth. Buc-ee’s new travel center continues this trend. It symbolizes the site’s shift to a hub for modern travelers.

A Boost for Pass Christian

Buc-ee’s investment in Pass Christian totals $50 million. The project will create over 200 full-time jobs. It highlights the region’s economic growth and potential. By spring 2025, travelers will enjoy all the amenities Buc-ee’s is famous for.
