New McDonald’s Planned For North Fort Worth

Fort Worth will welcome another new McDonald’s restaurant at the bustling Victory Shops at Basswood shopping mall in North Fort Worth. This new addition will stand alongside prominent national retailers and dining spots such as Kroger, CVS, Starbucks, and Jersey Mike’s Subs. Directly across Blue Mound Road, Saginaw High School adds a lively educational pulse to the area.

Tracing back to the 1950s, this area appeared as undeveloped land in aerial photographs. The landscape began to change in the late 1990s with the onset of home construction south of the current Victory Shops at Basswood. The 2000s marked the establishment of Saginaw High School, with Basswood Drive extending from Blue Mound Road to Interstate 35 West shortly after that. The listed completion date was October 2024 but currently there are no project updates.
